Online classes begin August 23 and end December 13. No classes Thanksgiving week. Classes resume January 10. Spring break is the week of March 11-15. Classes end May 8.

Online Class Days

On days we have online class, we will be using Canvas as our online learning system. This facilitates everything from our Zoom meeting to assignments, downloads and grades to all be in one place. Information for how to enroll will be sent in July and a practice session will be held in August.

Home Days

On days we do not have class, students are encouraged to ask questions and submit work-in-progress via email at any time Monday-Friday. We will typically answer any student email within 24 hours. Questions submitted on Friday may be answered on Saturday, but we do not answer student emails on Sundays.  We have found over the years that consulting and editing via email works well for interacting with writers outside of class. However, if there is a need for video conferencing, we can be available through Zoom, Skype or FaceTime by appointment.
